Tailored interiors
Seats are rebuilt beneath the upholstery, with renewed cushions, springs and hardware. Choose leather, Alcantara, colors and stitching, with storage and audio integrated into the cabin.
Engineered capability
The Mercedes V8, automatic transmission and controls work with G500 axles and brakes, custom cooling and exhaust. The conversion is considered as a complete system.

Platform development and the testing of your finished vehicle serve different purposes. Your proposal sets out the road-testing and handover process for your build and destination.
Banyan remains your point of contact for ownership and warranty coordination. Coverage, repair approvals and delivery arrangements are documented in writing.

The Banyan G program is based around a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre Mercedes-Benz M113 V8 and Mercedes five-speed automatic. G500 axles and brakes, controls, cooling and exhaust form part of the conversion. The final unit, rating and equipment are documented in your proposal. AMG and portal-axle programs are assessed separately.
What does KTL protection involve?+
KTL is an immersion coating applied using an electrical charge. It bonds a protective primer to the metal, including accessible recesses that are difficult to reach with a spray gun, creating a corrosion-resistant foundation beneath the paint.
What does my proposal include?+
Your proposal sets out the donor vehicle, restoration scope, selected options, production and payment milestones, and delivery arrangements. Donor vehicle cost, onward transport and applicable duties and taxes are itemized so you can review the complete project. Request current pricing for your body style and specification.
Can I choose the cabin and seating?+
Paint, upholstery, stitching and detailing are tailored with the team. Seating layout, restraints, luggage space and permitted capacity are confirmed for the chosen body and destination.
How long will the build take?+
Ask Banyan for the current schedule for your body style and specification. Production timing, payment milestones and design approvals are confirmed in your individual proposal.
Where can it be serviced and registered?+
Banyan coordinates service and warranty inquiries; your ownership documents explain repair arrangements and approvals. Destination requirements are reviewed against the donor vehicle and planned specification before the build is agreed.
Is this a new Mercedes-Benz?+
A Banyan G is a restored and modified classic Mercedes-Benz, built from an eligible donor vehicle. Banyan is an independent restoration business; Mercedes-Benz names identify the original vehicles and components.
